By far, this is my favorite little island Washington Island, so great and not overdeveloped…Summer is finally here and what better way to spend a fun vacation than with a relaxing trip to a town along the coast, soaking up the sun and taking a dip in the water to cool off in the warm temperatures. Fortunately, you don't have to go too far as one of the best coastal towns in the country is right here in Wisconsin.

According to USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice 2024, a spot in Wisconsin is among the 10 Best Coastal Small Towns around the U.S. Coming in at No. 9 is Washington Island, a beautiful locale along Lake Michigan that has plenty of exciting activities to make a trip to this coastal haven a must.
